Paul Newman died of cancer at 83. Newman became popular in the 1950s appearing in classic films as "Cat on a Hot Tin Roof," "Exodus," "The Hustler," "Cool Hand Luke," "Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid," "The Sting" and "The Verdict." He won an Oscar in 1986 on his eighth try for "The Color of Money," a sequel to "The Hustler." Paul Newman political views earned a spot on Richard Nixon's enemies list Newman said "the highest single honor I've ever received," If you have never seen a Paul Newman film you might know him as the guy who makes salad dressing and other products his food company Newman's Own donates all profits to charities and has given away more than $200 million. Newman has done a lot o great films but the one that sicks out to me is Cool hand Luke.
